Living Your Life on Purpose
Sunday, November 27th, 2005Even though the Thanksgiving holiday has passed here in the U.S., I still have this incredible sense of gratitude in my heart. I’ve been feeling this for some time actually, maybe the past month or so. Not only do I feel grateful for so many things in my life, I also have this odd sense of clarity and inner peace surrounding me. Why? I’m glad you asked.
I was giving it some thought earlier this morning. I think it’s because finally, for the first time in my life, I’m actually spending the majority of my time following my true purpose. For so many years, I avoided what I felt was my calling. There were many reasons, mostly fear, hesitation, and uncertainty. I wasn’t sure where or how to begin following my dreams. I had a vague idea of what they were, but I wouldn’t allow myself to get quiet enough to truly hear my inner wisdom. Once I did, once I REALLY tuned in and listened, I knew what I had to do. When I began following my own wisdom, everything changed instantly. Doors began opening. It was like the universe was smiling down on me, encouraging me to take another step, and another.
Maybe you find yourself now poised at the brink, not sure if you are courageous enough to leap? Are you standing at a crossroads, unsure which direction to take?
Simply turn inward and listen to the urgings of your heart. You already know what you’re supposed to be doing here on this earth. It was programmed into you before you even came here. Once you begin living your life on purpose, miracles will happen and you will be astounded by the joy and peace that fills your heart. You can do it, just take the first step.
