The Law of Attraction Fantasy Game

Are you still struggling to get the Law of Attraction to work for you? Or maybe you’ve seen some results but want to take it to the next level? Either way, I’m going to share a fantastic game with you today that will drastically boost your ability to attract the things you want!

Before I do, however, I want to explain why this process works so effectively.

As you may already know, the Law of Attraction is activated according to your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and expectations in every moment. Whatever you’re “thinking, feeling, believing and knowing” RIGHT NOW is what you are attracting.

What are you thinking, feeling, believing and knowing right now? Are you focused on something that makes you feel angry or frustrated? Something that frightens you? Something that upsets you and makes you feel powerless? Or are you focusing on something that makes your heart pound with excitement and joy?

Believe it or not, it matters because you are ASKING for those things in every moment. To really get the Law of Attraction working effectively for you, you’ll need to learn how to “think, feel, believe and know” something better.

And one great way to do that is by engaging in a bit of fantasy.

So, here is the Law of Attraction Fantasy Game!

Bring to mind something wonderful that you want to attract into your life. It can be more money, a better job, a loving relationship, better health, or anything else. Keep focusing until you have a crystal-clear picture of it in your mind. Can you see it in glorious detail? Okay, good!

Now, consider how you would FEEL if that object or experience were already your reality. Would you feel happy, content, secure, excited, joyful, grateful . . . ? Imagine that you already have it right now, and focus on FEELING exactly like you would if it really was your current situation.

Can you feel it? Continue to let your emotions grow stronger, more positive, and more powerful! Stay with those feelings of pleasure and joy and gratitude, and let them take over your mind and body. You feel SO AMAZING, SO WONDERFUL, SO HAPPY! Life is great because you already have everything you’ve been wanting for so long.

Stay in this focus for as long as you can - but at least for 5 to 10 minutes. If you generated enough positive emotion, you should feel much calmer and happier by the time you’re finished.

THEN - as you continue with your normal routine, consciously focus on living from the perspective of someone who already has what they want. Whatever you’re trying to bring into your life, keep thinking, feeling, believing and knowing that you already have it, as often as possible!

That includes generating strong, positive emotions about your desires as much as you can, and it will also involve consciously avoiding getting entangled in negative emotions that contradict what you’re trying to attract!

For example, if you’re trying to attract more money into your life, you wouldn’t want to spend time worrying about how you’ll cover your bills this month, or get upset when an unexpected expense comes up. When you do those things, you are “thinking, feeling, believing and knowing” that LACK IS YOUR REALITY. The universe picks up that signal and reinforces the illusion of lack in your life.

However, if you instead keep “thinking, feeling, believing and knowing” that abundance is your reality, you will be sending a completely different signal to the universe!

Can you sense the power of this exercise? The more you focus on ALREADY HAVING what you want, you are affirming that “reality” to the universe! The universe then MUST shift circumstances to make it so.

One word of caution: don’t expect yourself to get this “perfect” right from the start. Most likely you’ll swing back and forth between your old focus and your new, more powerful focus for awhile. That’s okay! Just keep working at it, and eventually you’re going to tip the balance from lack to abundance (or from bad to good) - and eventually you’ll be focusing MORE on what you want, and LESS on what you don’t want. When that happens, you’re on the road to being a powerful, dynamic conscious creator!

Common Law of Attraction Mistakes

Hi all! Hope your Thanksgiving was great - and if you didn’t celebrate, hope your Thursday was great! :-)

I can’t believe we’re almost into December already. Where does time go? How’s this picture for a great visual on the changing seasons?

I took that in my front yard 2 days before Thanksgiving. Goodbye Fall, hello Winter! :-)

Despite nearing the end of my favorite season, I’ve been feeling so good lately! Really productive, getting lots of stuff done (and falling behind on other stuff like this blog!), and making fantastic progress on my personal goals. I think 2007 is going to finish on a very good note! How about you? Are you struggling to get things working for you - especially the Law of Attraction? If so, read on, I’ve got something special that might help you:

Avoid These Law of Attraction Mistakes

When most people first begin working with the Law of Attraction more consciously, they usually start by focusing on the things they want, such as more money, a nicer home, newer car, and so on. This is a great start! Just by moving your thoughts to a more positive place, you raise your frequency and begin attracting better circumstances.

However, the majority of people also notice after a few months that the results they’re experiencing are limited. They may enjoy a bit of increased prosperity, perhaps recognize a great opportunity or two, but overall, the “negative” situations don’t seem to be changing and they end up feeling like there’s an invisible blockage somewhere that they just can’t break through.

Has that been your experience too?

The truth is, working consciously with the Law of Attraction is very SIMPLE to do! But there are also a few common mistakes that can throw a wrench into the process and severely limit the results you get from your efforts.

Take a look at some of these mistakes below and consider whether you might be making them:

1) Not recognizing the importance of emotion.

Most people start by improving the quality of their thoughts, which is definitely helpful - but your thoughts don’t create anything on their own. Emotion is needed to infuse your thoughts with powerful energy, which will shift the frequency you send out to the universe. There are two ways that emotion can cause problems: not focusing enough on emitting strong, positive emotions; and allowing negative emotions to rule your focus.

In order to use the Law of Attraction effectively, you’ll need to take firm control over your emotional state as often as possible. You’ll need to avoid getting sucked into “negative” emotions like anger, frustration, cynicism and fear as much as you can. At the same time, you’ll need to consciously work on generating more positive emotions, like love, happiness, joy, peacefulness, and excitement.

The good news is that it doesn’t matter what you focus on while you do this! You can think about something wonderful that happened a long time ago and relive those pleasant emotions, or you can fantasize about something you want to happen in the future. While you’re doing this, you are altering your emotional frequency and sending a signal to the universe that says, “Send me wonderful and amazing stuff!” The universe picks up your signal and says, “I’m glad you asked; here you go!” :-)

You may be wondering how to avoid those pesky negative emotions like fear, anxiety, frustration and anger. Believe it or not, at the beginning you’ll have to do it by sheer force of will. You have to CHOOSE not to get sucked into those feelings, and it probably won’t be easy right from the get-go. When you notice you’re starting to feel tense or anxious, immediately start thinking about something more pleasant so you can shift your emotional state back to the positive side. It will take practice and persistence, but over time you’ll gain much greater control.

2) Impatience.

Another huge stumbling block that people encounter when working with the Law of Attraction is impatience. It’s understandable to feel impatient when you’re not seeing results, but the problem with impatience is that you infuse it with a sense of urgency or desperation to change your current situation. And what happens when you communicate urgency and desperation to the universe? The universe sends you more situations to feel urgent and desperate about! Whatever you FEEL is what you are “asking” to be given!

In order to overcome this blockage, you’ll need to find a way to accept your life as it is right now, and affirm that better things are on the way. One good way to do this is by focusing heavily on gratitude and optimism. Rather than thinking and feeling, “I’m so sick of this, something has to change quickly!”, you would focus more like this, “I’m so grateful for the wonderful things in my life; I’ve got a lot going for me, and I know that even better things are coming soon!”

Again, this type of mind-set takes practice but eventually becomes a habit.

3) Uncertainty.

In order to attract the things you want, you have to BELIEVE and KNOW in your heart that they are already yours. When you express feelings of doubt, disbelief, and pessimism, you automatically put up walls that block the things you want from entering your life.

The problem that many people experience in the beginning is that they really DON’T “know” that the Law of Attraction works. They want to believe it does, but they haven’t yet seen the “proof” in their own lives. So they approach it a little uncertainly, which limits the results they can receive.

One good way to get around this is to use something I call “active faith.” Rather than really and truly knowing that the Law of Attraction works, you’ll have to CHOOSE to know, even if you really don’t know yet! Simply keep affirming to yourself that you “choose to know; choose to believe” that the Law of Attraction works, and that your desires are already on the way. Do this especially when doubt or uncertainty enters your mind. Suspend all disbelief and simply trust and have faith - and soon enough you’ll have the proof you need!

Veil Between Two Worlds

I snapped this picture of my cat Onyx this morning as she peered out the living room window through the drapes. I had to laugh because it was a perfect demonstration of something that’s been on my mind a lot lately.

The more I work with the Law of Attraction, the more I see evidence that “reality” is not as fixed as we think it is. We’re used to thinking of reality as something that’s solid and unchangeable, except through physical action. But the Law of Attraction shows us that even a tiny shift in perception can change everything in a heartbeat!

A lot of people struggle with that. They know where they are and they know where they want to be, but they don’t know how to get from here to there. The new reality they crave seems so far away, so impossible, that they can’t see it as a possibility.

Between the two realities is a veil that blocks their view of what could be. But the veil is actually composed of something really EASY to change. Perception. PERCEPTION.

There really aren’t two separate worlds. We don’t have to transform one reality into another, or travel from one reality to another. All possibilities exist simultaneously, in the same place.

We just have to allow the one we want. “Allow” being the mind-set and emotional state that corresponds with what we want.

The next time you’re thinking about how to get something you want, realize that it’s already here. You’ve already got it. It’s sitting on the other side of a very thin veil that you can peek through (and STEP through) at any time. Just allow it!

There is nothing to get, nothing to change, nothing to do - just OPEN to it. It’s already here.

Howdy! How was your Halloween? Did you get a lot of trick-or-treaters?

We got very few! :-( It seems like the tradition has been dwindling over the past several years. When I was a kid the streets were loaded with trick-or-treaters, but not so much any more. Too bad because it’s so much fun. :-)
