Happy 2008!

Well hellooooooo there! :-)   Yes, I know I’ve been slacking on this blog again! LOL

It’s for good reason though – I’ve been busy laying the groundwork for my 2008 goals.  I’ve gotten a lot accomplished and I’m ready to get rolling!  How about you?  Have you set some goals that get your heart fluttering and blood pumping?  And have you formed a clear plan to keep you on track?  It may seem like a lot of work to do that in the beginning, but it’s really worth it!

One of my major goals for this year is to make things EASY and FUN.  :-)

I did a TON of work on my beliefs and expectations in 2007, and it dawned on me that I tend to make things more difficult than they really have to be. Chalk it up to my “Type A” personality. LOL

But if there’s one thing I’ve seen evidence of over and over in my life, it’s that you get what you EXPECT!

For most of the early part of my life I was a “doom and gloom” kind of person. Everything was difficult, nothing ever worked out like I wanted it to, and it seemed like I was fighting a constant uphill battle. I used to whine constantly about how “HARD” everything was for me! Little by little I’ve managed to change those perceptions simply by choosing to believe something else.

Lately though, I’m convincing myself that everything is smooth, easy and fun. And guess what? It IS! It’s actually funny when you start playing with the concepts and see the proof happening in your own life.

A few weeks ago I went shopping with my husband at Staples for a grab-bag gift for his company Christmas party, and I took another step in the direction of ease and fun! I bought an Easy Button. Have you seen those? Staples sells them as a promotional gimmick – but I just LOVE the idea of having an “easy button” because sometimes we make everything in life seem so hard. Why not make it EASY?

My Easy Button now holds a place of honor on my desk. Every time I press it, a male voice pipes up and says, “That was easy.” I LOVE IT!

Even if you don’t have an Easy Button, why not develop an easy button mind-set anyway? Life is what you decide to make it!

Here’s what I *E-X-P-E-C-T* for YOU and ME in 2008:

- Fun and ease.
- Passion and purpose.
- Consistent progress.
- Excitement and enthusiasm.
- Massive abundance.
- Illumination.
- Ever greater power and focus.

I could go on and on, but that should keep you busy for the next 365 days or so. ;-)

Best of success to you in the New Year!
