Law of Attraction is Not a Toy

But you can still play with it! :-)

In fact, “playing” helps you generate such awesome energy that you’ll probably find everything flowing much more easily.

We take this stuff too seriously sometimes. Granted, some of the things we’re working on are serious. Things like financial blockages, emotional blockages, career dissatisfaction, relationship dysfunction - those are serious issues.

Buuuut - do you suppose a serious focus may have contributed to their seriousness? I do.

So, your assignment for today, should you choose to accept it, is to PLAY. Get silly. Have fun. Let go. Set an intention to attract something totally outrageous, like a purple purse with pink rinestones. (That’s for the ladies; unless a few of you men are into that stuff….ahem.) ;-)

Or even better - set an intention to attract ANYTHING that is fun, silly and lighthearted. Don’t limit what it will be. Just wait and see what happens. I bet it will be really cool!

Here are a few more ideas for getting playful with the Law of Attraction:

- Whatever you’ve been trying to attract, inject a sense of playfulness into the visualization or affirmations you’re using. If you usually write scripts, make the next ones you write funny or silly in some way. Laugh your head off while you write them, just imagining being in such a funny situation. Do the same with any technique you use to place your order with the universe.

- Make your normal activities more fun. Even if you’re still working at a job you don’t like very much, or dealing with relationship issues, or anything else that would normally threaten to drag you down, you can choose to have fun with it. Tell jokes to your coworkers, invite a friend to lunch, listen to music while you clean the house, etc. Try making everything you do fun in some way, and notice how it doesn’t seem so bad anymore.

- Indulge your creativity. When was the last time you got your hands messy in paint or clay? When was the last time you created something you were proud of - or just enjoyed creating regardless of the outcome? Creative pursuits immediately connect us with our authentic selves. You can’t help but feel lighthearted and happy while you’re expressing that part of you! Do it as often as you can and let those good vibes flow.

In general, allow yourself to enjoy a lighter, more playful attitude day to day. That alone will make a big difference in the energy you put out.

That should keep you busy for awhile. Now, I’m off to make some mud pies (actually spaghetti and meatballs - same difference) :-)
