I just assumed there weren't any, so I was going to focus on making myself happy. And just when I least expected it, along comes the love of my life. In fact I can think of several other situations where I just gave up on something because I felt like it wasn't going to happen, and of course the moment I let go, it arrived! I remember when I was a single mom, I wanted so desperately to find the right guy. Wrong guy after wrong guy came along because I kept the mindset that "I needed" the right guy still. So life kept giving me more need. Then I figured I'd give up. At that time I didn't think of it as letting go lol. I decided to live life the way it was and enjoy my daughter for a change. Only a couple months later the right guy came along and we were married less than 6 months later.
