Walking Meditation Can Double Your Health Benefits

You probably know that walking is a great way to stay healthy physically. It provides cardiovascular benefits, burns calories, and increases blood flow to various parts of your body that need it. However, have you ever thought of combining the time you spend walking with spiritual and mental meditation, so that you can increase the benefits walking can offer you?

Oftentimes, when people take up walking, they do so because it’s an easy way to exercise that is low impact and is easy to learn. You don’t need special equipment or even a lot of time. All you have to do is put one foot in front of the other and walk your way toward better health.

However, if you combine this with meditation or mindful walking, you can get even more benefit out of this time than you would normally spend just exercising.

Secrets Of An Amazing New Life Using Cosmic Ordering

Nowadays, people are starting to believe a lot more in the usefulness of the process of cosmic ordering. It is like placing a food order at the drive through at a restaurant and getting your food, except you do this order for your desires straight to the universe to get it. There have been plenty of celebrities that speak of this being responsible for the great success in their lives.

Many people today manage to receive what they think about wanting, but why does this not work for everyone who tries this? Is it possible that the ones that get what they want have some kind of secret knowledge? Is there really such a thing as the cosmic ordering process?

Have you ever been totally disgruntled over a friend or fellow worker’s promotion or other prize they have received? At that point you just placed yourself a negative order through the cosmic ordering process. Being jealous over another’s success, makes the statement that you do not think you deserve getting what the universe has to offer, and initiates more bad karma and even a lack of wealth for you. Living Full Out, 100%, No Matter What

“Every man dies; not every man really lives.” -William Wallace, Braveheart

The movie Braveheart, starring and directed by Mel Gibson, is one of my favorites.

It’s the story of the legendary William Wallace in his valiant struggle to free Scotland from the oppressive King Longshanks of England. It’s a bloody and violent film (although not gratuitously so) filled with treachery, injustice, betrayal and courage.

For me, one of the most profound lines in the entire movie was uttered by Sir Wallace shortly before he was tortured and executed by his enemies. The princess of Wales was pleading for his life and begging Wallace to swear allegiance to the King, thereby avoiding a slow and excruciatingly painful death. She says to Wallace, “If you do not, you will surely die.” To which Wallace responds, “Every man dies; not every man really lives.”

It was as true in the 1300s as it is today. We will all surely die. The only question is when and where. If we have the chance to reflect upon our life before we pass, will we say that we truly lived?

The Art of Gratefulness

“If you learn to appreciate more of what you already have, you’ll find yourself having more to appreciate.”

The word appreciate has several meanings. One is to be thankful or show gratitude. Another is to raise or increase in value-such as how a good investment appreciates with time. I think that by appreciating-practicing gratefulness-the things we have and want in our lives also increase.

In our hectic, fast-paced lives, it’s easy to forget about the many things for which we have to be grateful. We tend to be goal-seeking, achievement-oriented people.

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

However, it’s vitally important that we not lose sight of the things that are near and dear-things we all too easily take for granted.

What we focus on expands. If we focus on the problems in our lives, they tend to increase. If we focus on the good things we already have, they too, have a tendency to grow.

When Things Keep Going Wrong

One common experience that people have when working deliberately with the law of attraction is the phenomena of everything going wrong – even though they are certain that they are doing everything right.

They may be visualizing, meditating, creating vision boards, keeping their thoughts positive, clearing out old negative or limiting beliefs – but the experiences they get are completely in opposition to those positive efforts.

Why does this happen?

First, there is a process often referred to as “chemicalization” that seems to commence right when you begin making progress. Bestselling prosperity and success author Catherine Ponder shares some excellent insights about chemicalization:

Just as we create a fresh start in our homes with a good annual “Spring Cleaning,” it’s also a good idea to do some occasional mental Spring cleaning.

Like sweeping away dust, dirt, cobwebs and stains from our living spaces, we can also sweep away limiting thoughts, doubts, fears, bad habits and past traumas from our minds.

Try this simple meditation for a great pick-me-up: Continue Reading »

How to Manifest: A Great Body

Your body is composed of energy, just like your thoughts.  In fact, we could take it step further and remind you that your body is a projection of your thoughts!

  • If you believe that you’re overweight, sluggish, and unattractive, your body must reflect that truth.
  • If you hate your body, it appears ugly and unloved.
  • If you neglect your body, it appears disheveled and out of control.

Try loving your body instead. Continue Reading »
