Meditation and the Law of Attraction
by Nancy Stremmel
Every single teacher of note recommends daily, once or twice a day meditation. Silva recommends twice daily for 15 minutes each and Roger G. Lanphear recommends twice daily for 20 minutes each. Bill Harris of Centerpointe and Gerald O’Donnell recommend once a day for an hour or a little more. Bill offers binaural beats to help you through the hour and Gerald offers wonderful detailed guided meditations that sometimes take more than an hour.
No one suggests that you attempt to use the Cosmic Consciousness and the law of attraction from a stone cold sober, Conscious mind. This can be done only if you are “flying high” on new love. Remember, even Jesus and Buddha needed time alone to pray and meditate. And, so do you if you want to use the law of attraction. You must develop your mind control.
And, don’t think that you only need to manifest a little bit, so you don’t need to meditate every day. If you are alive in 2009, you need to meditate 2,000 times more than Jesus and 25,000 more than Buddha… I’m just estimating here, but our lives are much more complicated and change happens much more quickly than before. Stress and discomfort cause resources to move from the front of our brains (needed for logical and creative thinking) to the back of our brains (needed for physical responses, and from our health and digestion to our muscles. As you can imagine, this might be fine for one day or for a few hours, but it is not good as a day-after-day regular event. You can’t make use of the law of attraction if you’re living from the back of your brain, even if you’re an Olympic Athlete.
The emotions that come from and that cause stress are the very ones that will stop your creative manifesting dead in its tracks. If you have worries or fears or doubts or anger or resentment, exhaustion from child rearing or a stressed partner and so on and so on, don’t bother reading another thing about the law of attraction because all you’ll be manifesting will be more of those things. You have to clear them away, and now!
So, why Am I Talking about Meditation Rather than Psychological Therapy?
Meditation moves your physiological resources back to the front of your brain and to your digestive system and to your reproductive organs. This restores your sense of health and well being. This allows you to creatively problem solve. This increases all your resources. Meditation with a brainwave generator will increase your brain cells by stressing the corpus callosum which causes it to rebuild with increases strength just as working out in the gym causes your muscles to rebuild with increased strength.
This alone, as I know you can imagine, is already an improvement. But then, meditation also allows you to directly link to Divinity. Divinity will help to remove your false beliefs and old memories replaying.
Dr. Hew Len, great Ho’oponopono master, tells us that to re-member is to give life and limb to an old bit of activity and emotionality from the past. Too often, our memories are of difficulties. Let them go. Ask Divinity to help you with this. “I love you. I’m sorry. Divinity, please take this memory and burn it in the light. Thank you. It is done.”
Being in the present is healthier than being in our past, even if our memories are good ones. Let them go. Use meditation to bring your-self back into the present where we are creating the next moment.
And then, focus on your heart vibration, your money vibration, and get to work with some good manifesting!
