The universe in which we live is one of infinite possibilities. There are literally no restrictions on what you can be, do, or experience. We place restrictions on ourselves, unknowingly. By breaking down our own mental barriers and belief systems, we can better learn to tune in to the greater realm of possibilities available to us as spiritual beings.
Breaking down belief systems can be frustrating. It can take a long time, and you will find that not long after, a new belief system has sprung up in the old one’s place.

Imagine the most detailed video game world you can imagine. The creators have created an entire universe full of stars, planets, humanoids, animals, plants, and all manner of life. All of the physics have been perfected. Enough complexity has been built into the minds of the life forms to create an infinite number of complex stories as any two or more life forms interact.
Now, the game has been released, you have bought it, and you are getting ready to play. However, for this game, you actually attach a wire directly into your brain and become a part of the game. You see what your character sees, feel what your character sees, hear what your character sees, etc.

It’s amazing how much “junk” we tend to absorb into our minds and allow it stay there, festering and tainting everything we do. Most of us have minds that are cluttered with unproductive thoughts, like negative comments by friends or family members, derogatory messages we’ve fed to ourselves, and restrictive messages received by society.

Several years ago while meeting with a woman who was interested in my Zen Gardens, she said something that struck me like the ol’ proverbial frying pan to the head. She said: “Money is nothing more than love in an alternate form. It’s ENERGY. If you’re struggling with it, you’re looking at it from a very skewed perspective. Just think about it.”
Now, all these years later, her voice comes back to me. I hear it as clearly as if she were sitting right beside me. And yes, it makes me smile. It makes me smile because once more I am considering some of the things that may lend to what is so commonly called “poverty consciousness”. I know lots of people in this state at the moment, all of whom I love, most of whom will not let go of their own limiting beliefs about money and/or prosperity. What’s a girl to do?

I’ll never forget the day many months ago when I received something I’d never gotten before: a heated, strongly worded “hate letter” from a subscriber to my law of attraction newsletter.
The author was a woman who had been trying to manifest two specific things in her life, a promotion at her job and to get back together with her ex-boyfriend, and it hadn’t been working for her. Instead, she got suspended from her job and her ex told her he doesn’t want to get back together with her.
She wrote to me to express her anger, expletives flying everywhere!
