Ho’oponopono Jewelry!

Saturday, May 24th, 2008

I just wanted to share something neat with you - Ho’oponopono clearing jewelry! :-)

I got an email the other day from Joe Vitale and he mentioned his assistant Suzanne Burns and her new jewelry creations that help “clean” even while you’re not consciously focused on saying the phrases. I was instantly interested because I know this kind of thing works very well.

Even long before I heard about the Law of Attraction, I knew it was possible to “charge” an object with energy and intention. For years I charged my rings and necklaces with energy for success and prosperity. And every time I did, cool things would happen. So I was intrigued by the idea of Ho’oponopono jewelry - the process alone has brought some impressive results into my life.

When I hopped over to Suzanne’s site, I loved it. Great energy and gorgeous jewelry! :-) I ordered a ring straight away. I’ll let you know when it arrives.

But I thought I’d mention it now for any of you who may want a visual reminder to wear on your body - a way to keep cleaning even when you’re not saying, “I’m sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you . . .” She’s got other types of jewelry and products too, not just Ho’oponopono:

More Ho’oponopono resources

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

This comment was left on my last Ho’oponopono post and it offers some great resources if you want to learn more about the process.  I’m posting it here so it doesn’t get buried in the comments.  :-)

Dear Wendy,

I really enjoyed this post on Ho’oponopono

I have made my Summary notes on Joe Vitale and Dr Hew Len’s wonderful book “Zero Limits” available at:

http://www.whatishooponopono.com/Hooponopono_Zero_Limits.htm

Making these notes has really helped me in better understanding Ho’oponopono, and I hope that you enjoy them and find them beneficial.

I encourage your feedback.

Ho’oponopono Basics

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

Stephen from Adversity University blog posted some questions on my last Ho’oponopono post and I realized that I never did fully explain what Ho’oponopono is, did I? I meant to, but forgot. :-) So let me start with a quick overview and then I’ll answer his questions.

Ho’oponopono is an ancient method of “clearing” negative energy by reciting four simple phrases.

I’m sorry,
forgive me,
thank you,
I love you.

These phrases activate a “process of repentance, forgiveness, and transmutation.”

The premise is that we are each responsible for the creation of everything that exists in our world - not just our immediate surroundings, but in our entire world (universe, really). If it resides in our consciousness, we created it.

That means you’ve created everything you see, hear and experience - yes, even if you see it on the evening news, and even if it’s something that doesn’t affect you personally, such as problems and wars in other parts of the world.

I know that’s probably a stretch for many people to believe, but if you’re familiar with subjective reality concepts at all it will make more sense to you. Quantum exploration is also moving quickly in this direction as we realize the “holographic” nature of reality.

But even as far as basic LOA principles this makes a certain kind of sense. Nothing exists separately outside of us; it’s all a projection from within us. According to our thoughts, feelings and beliefs we form our outer world. That doesn’t mean it isn’t “real,” it’s definitely real, but the only reality we know is our own PERCEPTION of the things we see and experience. That’s real, but it’s also extremely malleable! ;-)

Anyway, according to Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len (co-author with Joe Vitale on the book Zero Limits), our own “cancerous thoughts” are what create negative outer experiences, even if we’re not aware of doing so. And we can’t heal those outer problems except by healing the part of ourselves that created them. As we heal that, everything outside heals too.

Quote from the book: “Dr. Hew Len explained, ‘Simply put, ho’oponopono means “to make right” or “to rectify an error.” Ho’o means “cause” in Hawaiian and ponopono means “perfection.” According to the ancient Hawaiians, error arises from thoughts that are tainted by painful memories from the past. Ho’oponopono offers a way to release the energy of these painful thoughts, or errors, which cause imbalance and disease.”

Through the use of Ho’oponopono we claim full responsibility for the thoughts that created these situations and “clear” the energy so we can return to a “zero state” - which means we’ve cleaned the slate and everything is possible.

Here’s how the phrases work:

I’m sorry, forgive me

When you say these words, you are in effect saying to the universe, “I’m sorry for creating this situation or experience in my universe. I may not even understand how I created it, but I know I did and I take full responsibility for it. Forgive me.”

Thank you

When you say “thank you,” you are saying, “Thank you for clearing the error and making it right again.” It’s very much a mind-set of surrender, like acknowledging that you can’t fix it on your own so you ask the universe, the Divine, to work on your behalf.

I love you

With these words you simply express your love, gratitude and appreciation for the universe, for your life, and for everything.

You can read more about the process at the Ho’oponopono website: www.hooponopono.org/ and Joe Vitale has a video on it too: drjoevitale.blogspot.com/ (It’s the second video down on the page, “15 Minute Miracle”)

Okay, now for Stephen’s questions!

Is there another source of information other than the book you suggested? I seem to remember printing the words from somewhere but can’t figure out where.

When you decided to try it for money, how exactly did you do it? You recited “I’m sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you.” Right?

What were you focused on when you were saying those words? Focused on money itself? Focused on the unexpected bill?

Did you consciously bring up emotions on purpose? If so, what did you bring up? Did you focus on your feelings of financial insecurity while chanting those words or did you focus on WHAT?

There is another source of information, which is the website listed above (www.hooponopono.org). The book Zero Limits explains it all much more completely, but there are some gems on the website too.

When I used this process for money, here’s exactly what I did. When I sat down to say the phrases, I had a mental image of my entire financial situation. I saw this unexpected bill as a blockage in the natural flow of abundance through my life. A blockage that I had created somehow. As I kept this image in mind, I started saying the words, “I’m sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you” over and over again.

As I did so, I raised the corresponding emotions of regret, humility, surrender, gratitude, love and appreciation. If I had to pair words with those feelings, it was like I was communicating to the universe something like this: “I know I DID create this financial obstacle somehow. I know I’m fully responsible for its appearance in my life. I’m sorry for doing that even though I have no idea how I did it. I surrender this to you, Universe, and I thank you for setting it right again. I know you’ll set it right again, because abundance and peace is my natural state of being. Thank you so much for everything, for the love and support and guidance you constantly give me. Thank you for my life and all of the miracles in it.”

I didn’t so much think those words consciously, but that was the type of FEELING I brought up while I was saying the four phrases. A feeling of surrender and peace.

I didn’t focus on financial insecurity - just the opposite! I moved into a state of knowing that everything was being set right again, right NOW. Very peaceful, like knowing that all is well, even if I couldn’t yet see it.

Hope that makes sense! :-)

It’s difficult to put it into words. My suggestion would be to try it, even if you don’t understand how or why it works yet. Just go with it. When you see or experience something negative, say the phrases and bring up the emotions as best you can. You can do this with your own problems, but also when you see or hear about someone else’s problems. Take responsibility for them appearing in your life, and surrender them to the universe to be healed. Then watch what happens.

You might see only small changes at first, or you might see HUGE ones. Genuine miracles. :-)

I can tell you one thing. As far as my own experiences with this process, what seems to make the biggest difference in my results is how completely I can move myself into that state of surrender and peace. It’s one thing to say the phrases, but it’s a much more powerful experience to really FEEL them. See if that isn’t true for you too.

I’d be interested in hearing about your experiences if you try this, so feel free to share! :-)

Ho’oponopono - Clearing the Negativity

Monday, March 17th, 2008

Back in February I wrote a short post on Ho’oponopono and promised to write more about it later. Since then I’ve had some interesting experiences with this process!

The first few times I used it I didn’t spend a lot of time on it. I recited the words and definitely felt some shifting taking place, but didn’t really immerse myself in the process fully. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to go all the way and see what it could really do.

For years now I’ve had a recurring health issue that I can’t seem to get rid of. I’ve tried everything from conventional treatments to alternative treatments to visualization to EFT and beyond. Nothing has worked for this condition, not even the many LOA techniques I know. It’s a minor condition, but very annoying because it just keeps coming back and coming back.

So I thought, “Hmm, let’s try Ho’oponopono and see if it will work.” Can’t hurt, right?

I finished my work for the day and settled in to watch TV with Pat (hubby) for a few hours. He was watching some boring show on cars, so I was easily able to tune out the TV and focus on Ho’oponopono. I sat in the glider rocking chair and put my feet up, started rocking and saying the words to myself: I’m sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you . . .

Within a few minutes I had entered an almost trance-like state, rocking steadily and saying the words mentally over and over again. As I said each statement I made a point of bringing up the corresponding emotions (actually feeling regretful for creating this situation in my life, surrendering to the universe, feeling grateful, flowing feelings of deep love and appreciation, etc.).

Before I knew it, more than an hour had passed - and something VERY interesting was happening. Outside, the wind had picked up and was practically howling around the house. Pat looked at me and said, “Wow, you hear that wind?” I got up and looked outside and saw the trees swaying back and forth in strong gusts. Call me superstitious but it didn’t seem like a random event. ;-) It seemed like this wind was “blowing” the negative energy from my life.

I sat back down in my chair, and that’s when I noticed that the whole living room appeared to be glowing . . . like a thousand candles were casting a soft golden glow on everything. It seemed like that glow was within me too - like *I* had been cleansed. I felt so light and peaceful. And that condition that I hadn’t been able to get rid of before? GONE. And it hasn’t come back since.

That would be amazing enough, but I’m not done yet.

A few days later I received an unexpected bill in the mail that was pretty big and I didn’t have the money on hand to pay it. I could have taken it from savings but I didn’t want to do that. As I considered ways to raise the money quickly, a little light bulb went off in my head, “Would Ho’oponopono work on money too?” Why not?

That night I did the same thing, rocked in the glider for more than an hour saying the words and bringing up the corresponding feelings. And YES, the same thing happened - the wind kicked up and started blowing hard outside! And the next few days it was like a hurricane came blowing into my financial sector. Orders came FLOODING in for my business like they never have before. Not only orders either, but all kinds of good things like referrals and new opportunities for the future and more. In the space of a few days, I had more than enough money to pay that bill - and it came in a way that was completely effortless.

It’s no mystery to me why this process works so well in the context of Law of Attraction. Saying these words and bringing up the feelings associated with them automatically moves you into a state of surrender. You’re not RESISTING or throwing anxiety and fear into the mix. Your vibrational state becomes one of peace, harmony and receptivity. You’re LETTING GO - which is one of THE most important things you can do when you’re trying to create better circumstances. You’re giving the universe room to work on your behalf - and WOW does it.

So, if you’ve got a situation that nothing else seems to work on, you might want to try Ho’oponopono and see if it might be just the thing you need. I do recommend reading the book, Zero Limits because you’ll learn a lot more about the process and how it works. Besides, it’s a fascinating read. There are a lot of amazing stories in there - far more impressive than mine. Definitely check it out if you get a chance.

As for me, I’ve got a few other situations I’ll be using this process on! ;-)

I Love You . . .

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

Lately I’ve been studying Ho’oponopono - the ancient Hawaiian method of “cleaning” energy to resolve problems and blockages. Dr. Joe Vitale’s latest book, “Zero Limits” is about this method.

I haven’t been working with it for too long, but already I can see some interesting things happening. For one, whenever I recite the phrases that activate this method (I’m sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you), I feel an instant “lightening” of the atmosphere around me. Like a raise in vibration. I’m really sensitive to “energy” anyway, so maybe not everyone feels it like I do.

But even more interesting is the way things just come to me when I do this - and I mean totally effortlessly and quickly! The more I work with these techniques, the more I feel like I’m “purging” a lot of junk from my consciousness. Even my dreams have been wild and turbulent, which sounds like a bad thing, but it feels very much like a “burning off” process, like I’m clearing out stuff that’s been stuck in there for decades.

I’ll be writing more about this process in the future, but today I just wanted to share a wonderful article from Joe Vitale. It highlights one simple thing you can do to increase sales in your business - or, in my opinion, it can help boost the success of anything you do.

By the way, one thing I love about this Ho’oponopono process is that it sounds so WACKY and “out there” - it really forces us to suspend disbelief and be willing to keep an open mind. Keep that in mind as you read the article below. ;-)

A “Crazy” New Way to Increase Sales– from Zeroby Dr. Joe Vitale
  www.mrfire.com
In my new book, “Zero Limits,” I talk about the unusual therapist who helped heal an entire hospital ward of mentally ill criminals –without seeing any of them.

I’ve since learned his method for healing, which involves “cleaning” yourself of all negativity in order to see change in others.

It seems bizarre, but when you take care of your own issues, they disappear in other people.

The whole idea is to love the problems away. You do it by saying “I love you,” and a few other statements, non-stop. I’ve been doing it for two years now and my life is astonishing. I live in an almost moment-by-moment state of bliss.

Once I learned this method, I started to use it on other things besides illness. Since I’m a
practical metaphysician and an entrepreneur, I wanted to see if this wild method would work on sales and other bottom line results.

Whenever I would write an article — much like this one — I would send love into it.

Whenever I would write another book — like my new one, “Zero Limits” — I would keep saying “I love you” in my mind.

What I noticed is my emails and articles would get read and distributed to *millions* of people.

And my book, “Zero Limits” became an Amazon bestseller — six months *before* it was published.

But I didn’t stop there in my testing.

Because I want to be sure this method works for others and not just me, I taught it to my
close friends.

Bill Hibbler, coauthor with me of the book “Meet and Grow Rich,” was skeptical. But he
borrowed a pre-publication copy of my book, “Zero Limits,” read it, and started loving his products and his list of subscribers. Here’s what he said:

“Sales for Jan 1-4 were 41.39% higher than Dec 1-4. During the four day period in January, I didn’t mail my list or launch any new promotion during that time. All I did was clean while reading your book and throughout the day.”

Bill went on to tell me he saw sales increase from sites like http://create-ultimate-ebooks.com/ — which he wasn’t promoting *at all*.

How is this possible?

How can “cleaning” yourself with a mantra like “I love you” make a difference in your sales?

It appears that there is nothing “out there.” The entire world is a projection of what you feel inside.

So, if you feel love, you will attract love. Because love contains gratitude, you attract more things to be grateful for. This is the essence of my book, “The Attractor Factor,” and of course of the movie, “The Secret.”

You get what you feel.

That’s it.

At heart I think you (I) just want love. Well, so does everyone else. When you say “I love you” inside yourself, you cleanse yourself and you radiate an energy that others feel.

The result: more sales.

Still skeptical?

Look at it this way:

Even if this whole method seems totally crazy to you, what harm can come from you saying “I love you” in your mind as you make calls, write emails, deliver pitches, and go about your day?

If nothing else, you’ll have better feeling days.

Try it and see.

By the way, “I love you”.
