Flowers for all you Moms out there.

My mother and I bought a bunch of pansies, petunias and other pretties and planted them in nice boxes to give away to the Moms (and Grandmas).

I finally broke down today and installed SPAM Karma on this blog.  I had to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress anyway, so I figured why not try something new and pull my hair out for a few more hours? 

But surprise, surprise – it was a SNAP to install!  Bless your heart, Dave the SPAM Karma King!  Come to think of it, upgrading WordPress was a SNAP too.  Maybe I’m finally getting to be more technical in my old age….hmmm?

When you work at home you deal with plenty of distractions but I sure didn’t expect to get THESE distractions today!

I was working in my office this morning, which is at the back of the house. Suddenly I heard a loud CRASH! out on the deck in back. Usually when I hear that it’s a neighborhood cat or racoon causing trouble – but today I looked out and saw three BEARS on our deck, ransacking our bird feeder!
