Can A Positive Mindset Attract Success?

Be positive, always look on the bright side. It seems like we have been hearing these statement’s all our lives. Don’t immediately dismiss all that your mother used to tell you, after all she was right about green vegetables being good for you. There might be some truth yet to the notion that a positive mindset is an important contributing factor to our success. Ancient wisdom and modern thinking both suggest that it can serve as a medium of attraction, a tool with which we can bring success into our lives.

To start off with, people with positive dispositions are generally seen as more friendly and approachable by others. This ability to create a good impression and maintain a calm perspective on issues can go a long way towards building and fostering good relationships. This equates to better friendships and personal relationships.

Self-Talk and Law of Attraction

Did you know that you talk to yourself all day long? No, not the mental chatter about activities and chores that you need to remember throughout the day. That’s a form of self-talk too, but I’m referring more to the things you say to yourself on a regular basis; and more importantly, the tone in which you say them.

When you make a mistake, do you berate yourself angrily? Do you put yourself down or call yourself derogatory names? When you have a hard time making positive changes in your life, do you bemoan what a “failure” you are and conclude that you’ll never do anything right?

Tips for Using Affirmations Effectively

Many years ago in France a man named Emile Coue came up with an idea which was different for the time. His idea was that if you repeated something (like a phrase) to yourself often enough, you could bring about personal change. No one had ever come up with such an original thought as this before Coue.

You probably have heard of Coue’s short, famous phrase:

Every day, in every way I m getting better and better.
