Improve Your Results with the Law of Attraction by Clearing Out Mental Debris

Every one should keep a mental wastepaper basket and the older he grows the more things he will consign to it – torn up to irrecoverable tatters. – Samuel Butler

It’s amazing how much “junk” we tend to absorb into our minds and allow it stay there, festering and tainting everything we do. Most of us have minds that are cluttered with unproductive thoughts, like negative comments by friends or family members, derogatory messages we’ve fed to ourselves, and restrictive messages received by society.

Can A Positive Mindset Attract Success?

by Tim R. Cooper

Be positive, always look on the bright side. It seems like we have been hearing these statement’s all our lives. Don’t immediately dismiss all that your mother used to tell you, after all she was right about green vegetables being good for you. There might be some truth yet to the notion that a positive mindset is an important contributing factor to our success. Ancient wisdom and modern thinking both suggest that it can serve as a medium of attraction, a tool with which we can bring success into our lives.

To start off with, people with positive dispositions are generally seen as more friendly and approachable by others. This ability to create a good impression and maintain a calm perspective on issues can go a long way towards building and fostering good relationships. This equates to better friendships and personal relationships.

Self-Talk and Law of Attraction

Did you know that you talk to yourself all day long? No, not the mental chatter about activities and chores that you need to remember throughout the day. That’s a form of self-talk too, but I’m referring more to the things you say to yourself on a regular basis; and more importantly, the tone in which you say them.

When you make a mistake, do you berate yourself angrily? Do you put yourself down or call yourself derogatory names? When you have a hard time making positive changes in your life, do you bemoan what a “failure” you are and conclude that you’ll never do anything right?

Your Thoughts Govern Your Life

Men are not prisoners of fate, but prisoners of their own minds. – Franklin D. Roosevelt

How many times have your own thoughts worked against you? Whether you turned a mild concern into a major anxiety attack or you let fear hold you back from doing something you really wanted to do, your perceptions have everything to do with your life as it is today.

The way you see the world around you determines the way you feel about yourself, your potential, and your progress. A perception of limitation will convince you that you can’t move forward. A perception of lack can convince you that your life is barren and empty of opportunities. A perception of injustice will convince you that you’ll always lose – one way or another.

Law of Attraction: What to Do With Negativity From Other People

Have you been working hard at improving your own thoughts and emotions, only to encounter rude and negative people in your daily life? The law of attraction responds to your thoughts and emotions, but too often it’s easy to be influenced by the people that surround you. You may start out in a great mood, but quickly find yourself spiraling down because of negativity being tossed your way by others. What to do about it?

First, remember that you don’t have to absorb other people’s moods and attitudes. It is possible to mentally and emotionally step back from them and put up your guard.

* Happy News *

Where would we be without the press? Would our lives be in any way diminished if they didn’t exist? Is being Pollyanna any kind of option for 21st century living? What is it that makes you feel bad when you read or hear about some terrible story in the press?

The majority understand human emotions to some extent. Visceral human emotions such as disgust and fear serve to protect us from things which would be harmful to us. But what about the other emotions? What purpose do bad feelings serve when applied to our perspective on life?

They are given labels, embarrassment, fear, anxiety, depression, sadness, loneliness. They all have little situations attached too. And the words conjure up memories of feelings within us which we usually usually take responsibility for. Whatever they are, they all feel bad.

Kicking the Worry Habit

“Worry is like prayer in reverse.”

I grew up on a Vermont farm. After college, I bought a farm of my own and operated it for several years. During this time, I learned the secret to making a small fortune in farming. It’s kind of inside information, and I don’t pass it around to just anybody. Ready? Here it is: start out with a large one. And sooner or later, you’ll have a small one.

Farmers don’t lead easy lives. The work is hard and the risks are great. They’re dependent on the weather and many other things outside of their control.

I used to worry all the time. I worried about livestock disease. I worried about getting bank loans. I worried about the buying price of grain and the selling price of livestock. I worried about not having enough money. I was unhappy, fatigued and irritable. It had become a disease.
